Enjoy!

Feb 26, 2013

Today Steve talks about some of the mental "match modes" he observed at The IDPA nationals and recommends an alernative which will not surprise anyone.

Enjoy!

Feb 25, 2013

Steve gets back from coaching Lee Wills through the IDPA indoor nationals at the Smith and Wesson Academy in Springfield Massachusetts, and is perfectly willing to compare USPSA and IDPA and tell you what crazy, unreasonable thing the sport of IDPA requires a shooter to do.

:)

We also get a terrible impression of Lee Will's voice and feature his favorite Van Halen song.

Enjoy.

Feb 21, 2013

Today we revisit the Brian Enos trick for group shooting, make up at least one new word, and remind everyone that if you put a bayonet on a Glock, that IS a weapon.

Enjoy.

Feb 20, 2013

Steve gets home from his Oklahoma homecoming and goes over the hard numbers from the class...

It does contain a little math, and he does have a little trouble with that.

Names have have not been changed to celebrate the improved!

Enjoy.

Feb 14, 2013

Steve discovers a miracle drug at 4am and then proceeds to ponder:

Practice

New Gear

Being a Duke boy!

Enjoy...

Feb 13, 2013

Steve goes to the doctor and is diagnosed with "sore throat crud."

We know this isn't a real medical condition, but is it a phenomena or a phenomenon?

We do eventually talk about shooting... Enjoy!

Feb 2, 2013

Dedicated to Brother Micah Barcelo.

What if we...

What could we?

Enjoy...

Jan 31, 2013

Steve announces the CR Speed dealership and praises the CR Speed Magpouch for its sheer awesomeness.

Then, he discusses consistency of performance and how to achieve it...

Enjoy!

Jan 30, 2013

Today we prove a number of things to be true:

1. If you send Steve enough enough email, he will put you on the show.

2. Steve can play the easy parts of "Eruption" on an acoustic guitar.

3. It is possible to improvise a blues jam about an indoor IDPA match.

And much, much, more!

Enjoy!

Jan 29, 2013

It's a beautiful day in Columbus, Ohio, and Steve has a gripping tale of how new grip tape caused him to learn something. Again.

Then, we get zen and Steve coins a new mantra. (Is that even possible? To coin a mantra?)

As usual, we don't care what's possible around here. We just do it anyway. Enjoy!

Jan 28, 2013

Steve talks about the origin of the phrase on the new AndersonShooting T-shirts, then does a little reader mail about the results of the last dry fire tune-ups...

Then, he poses a question: In the midst of winter and ammo shortages, isn't this a great time to get serious about dry fire?

:)
